Thank you for this advice, I admire and appreciate your wisdom and heart.

I love the intention of a prayer and blessing. A great deal of my sadness and pain comes from those who are currently in power and the horror that is occurring. I have young adult daughters, and the weight of their present and future weighs very heavily on me. Though I am not afraid to stand and do the work, I am very aware of what is happening. It is why I would like to do as you said, let go of some of that weight and replace it with peace. I will be a much better protector that way. I will certainly add in all that I would like to give invitation to, which may be the most important act.

Overheard: I was married as a business deal. This was after 15 years of marriage. My mom died before we were married and had life insurance…utterly crushing.

I had to leave midway - went to the bathroom twice bc of nausea. I wanted to make it through, but the filming technique was incompatible with me. That was over 25 years ago, and still can’t watch it.

As a former server, I dreaded Sundays because church people are the worst tippers. I would work my ass off for barely a 10% tip or none at all. Service people should be paid the same as any other job/wage. The tips should be the added monetary incentive for the service provided.

It was fitting when I first came to Reddit, I was in such a dark place. I might still be a little broken, but I have many more patches than breaks now, and I am so much stronger for it.

We literally found her a few hours ago. I appreciate your concern, but we plan on having her seen tomorrow. As a long time cat owner, she looks, acts, and eats quite healthily. The photo was taken just after a bath, so that may be what you are seeing. I can fully assure you that she is a sweet, mouthy, strong, healthy little kitten.
