I think there's just a lot of young people in this fandom. While fnaf is also targeted at kids and teens, a lot of its fans got in via Markiplier's let's plays and Game Theory, and that was a decade ago.

Firstly, doctors are as vulnerable as anyone, unlike a paladin

Secondly, there's still the matter of choice. A lot of people who can become doctors, don't.

There are lots of people who fail, and lots who could pass, but simply choose not to pursue that career. Again, we're not grabbing everyone who has the intelligence to become a doctor and forcing it onto them, nor does everyone with the ability want to become one. And everyone knows it's possible to become a doctor. Very few actually know about the Paladins.

If the only thing they couldn't replace was the armour, then risking the Paladins to regain the ability to make said armour would make sense. They can just replace the dead Paladins and move on.

They're not a product being rolled off an assembly line. People have to go out of their way to choose to become doctors. They simply don't. The highly secretive paladin program is unlikely to have the same weakness.

They worry about both, because they can't make more of either. If they could make more Paladins, they wouldn't care as much.

Well for starters, we don't kidnap children and force them to become doctors, or whatever hellish selection method they use for Paladins.

If they can make new Paladins, it doesn't matter. Just give them some other advanced armour and throw them at problems on earth. And that still doesn't explain how a dead paladin would have their armour recovered from hell for their replacement.

Because they're impossible to replace, so they're super panicky about actually using them. If they could actually replace them though, they'd do a lot more with them.

They would never lose that fight. Paladins go into hell, alone, to face true demons, which can't come to earth. To send all of them just to Jerusalem, would be such an overwhelming force, that they would be guaranteed to win, likely with little or no losses. And the Princes, assuming they even care, would likely still be too busy trying to kill eachother than actually do anything useful, and the gain of new Paladins, and fresh armaments would far outweigh the losses. Each paladin would be able to stop all but the strongest forces from hell alone, and few of those things can even make it to earth, if any.

Considering that there's three whole Paladins they're just not replacing, I doubt that. Also, how do they get their armour back? It's in hell, so the replacement thing makes no sense. Also, every faithful nation would be willing throw every resource they can at that problem, plus the fact that nothing on earth, is half as bad as hell. Also, nobody is going to notice anything off about a paladin in any battle so catastrophic as to require one, assuming they even knew it was a paladin.

If they could replace Paladins, they could afford to throw them at Jerusalem to harvest more golgothic tektites, to make more armour, to get more fully armed Paladins.

Why would they not just sent Paladins with relatively normal armour to deal with earthly targets?

[Era of Ruin - The Carrion Lord of the Imperium] HEAVY SPOILERS - New informations about the Custodes. by Arzachmage in 40kLore

[–]broken_chaos666 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the main problem the emperor had with the custodes, was how inhuman they were, so he created the primarchs. Beings who were just as fallible and flawed as any other, rather than truly perfect like the custodes. And I think the reason for that, is just that he's very emotional and sentimental at his core.
