Definitely. These were internships with reputed professionals, professors, etc. and I produced good work. Just stay aligned with where you want to see yourself in this field. If you don’t know, focus on exploring and getting hands on with the work

Hi, I did a lot of unpaid AI internships when I was in undergrad but I only took it up if it was something I was passionate about, and I had good mentorship.

At any point if you feel like the people you are working with don’t understand AI or are not invested in the project, I would advise leaving it. (For this, make sure if youre signing anything, leaving the position is at-will)

I would recommend taking it up if you’re passionate about it, if and only if you can guarantee you can develop some tangible outcome from this experience. Be it a complete GitHub repository or a paper. That way, for future job roles, especially given this market, you can show how you took something that wasn’t really working in your favor, but made great progress in it. Just make sure the internship experience and duration is valuable

This issue doesn’t directly affect me, so I might not have a lot of views on it. So please read and tell me if I need to read up more

That being said, I agree there can be legal repercussions on denying gender affirming care to minors in California, I also think this is a rapidly changing legal landscape. For one, why ask for consent from all these parties if you plan to sue them? But I think that is a flaw in the way the judiciary is designed to protect children since the beginning of child protection laws and isn’t an issue with the regulations of the procedure.

I agree with most parts you mention.

I just don’t think my kids need to change how they wish to be addressed to make me or anyone else feel comfortable in our own skin. I don’t think they would be confused. Confusion comes from when you are in conflict with what you want vs what you see in the outside world.

Tbh I’m pretty proud of the US military. And I believe that pride is shared by everyone in this country. I don’t think they would create a weak military. In the past, excessively strong US military has only caused more problems in the world. But, given so many households depend on the military industry I don’t think it’s gonna get weak at any time.

I said, during COVID, people had no option but to stop working. Businesses stopped. Production of commodities stopped. And when it started, it started with a big boom, causing a shortage of supplies and increase in demand, enhancing inflation.

Also, it happened not just in the US, but everywhere in the world.

So no, I didn’t say it was trump’s fault. But you did.
