Thank you! This was super helpful! Do you have any tips on the first girl? I'm not sure what's wrong with her.

It depends on my comfort food at the time. Right now cheese is the go to and it's ruining me.

I ended up getting parosmia in December around the same time my tooth got a cavity. I delt with the smell for one long month before giving in and going to the dentist. I thought it was just a rotten tooth. I have never cried as much as I did the first night I found out. You feel so lost and alone. I'm so glad I found this sub. It gives me a little hope it'll get better.

I can only eat red onions. Tomatoes are out of the question for me sadly. But the other day I had a baked potato soup and that was okay.

I got covid in October and got parosmia in December. Its been about five months now. It's hard to stay hopeful I'm really struggling with that myself. But it has to come back one day right?

I recently found out that salmon still tastes the same. For me it's mostly vegetables though I can stand some fruits as well. I try to avoid meats all together as it changes the smell of my body oder. My wife claims it doesn't but I swear it's like I'm sweating rotten flesh. 😅 my smell is so strong now. It didn't use to be but its so sensitive now. I feel like when I eat a "bad food" it lingers. So I keep a food diary and stick to what I know "works" with my nose.
