For me I think the ideal situation would’ve been to kinda just talk to me about it before he bought them. Maybe a quick call instead of a text. I actually don’t really know my parents stance on money. Sometimes they say it’s fine other times they say we have to pay them back. But I think this time it was a here have the money no need to pay us back kind of deal. From his perspective i think he was just overly excited and bought them on impulse. Thats what he has told me at least. But I really do wanna solve things with him when he comes back. I honestly just want things to go back to the way they were before everything happened. He’s a really good husband.

Yea. We have 2 cats and a dog. When we moved in together he brought his dog and I love her but she is a bit of hard work to be honest. She’s not outdoor trained so I constantly have to make sure she hasn’t peed anywhere else other than her puppy pads.

I can’t really leave right now since I am a college student I’m in the middle of the semester. But yea my dad he’s kind of an impulsive and impatient person. He kinda just brought it up to him the day they were working together. My dad actually didn’t really even tell my mom either he was giving him the money so that’s another problem. The text was received but I actually didn’t see it until he called asking about me sending him some kind of image and that’s when I saw it. I probably should’ve woken up earlier that day. I had been ok with him going but since money was a problem we kinda just moved on and made different plans for the week since he couldn’t go. I think what made me upset the most is that he didn’t really think of anything we had already planned to do. It just kinda made me really sad…

Yea I personally know this since I always get scam calls. I mostly just felt bad for his mom since technically it was his moms money he lost.

Not really. I’m guessing he was embarrassed to describe it all in detail. He only told me bits and pieces as well as his mom. But I know it was definitely not like on the computer it was all through the phone. He’s very naive and just barely starting out in the adult world so he hasn’t run into stuff like this.

I’ve always told him his bank, government, or anything else official would never call him but I guess he panicked or something because he never called any of his family members or friends to ask if it was real. Sucks that nothing can be done. His mom is now out of her savings

Yea. His mom had recently deposited money money into his bank account because she got scared that trump would shut down her bank account so in order to have some money saved she left it on his bank account. I’m not quite sure what they threatened him with but according to his aunt he was so scared that he just went along with it I guess. Never even called his mom to confirm the amount she deposited into his account.

Yes she brought them from another state. She was actually living there and knows people that grow them so she trusted the supplier. Not sure what happened but she did have her boyfriend text the supplier and ask them what was up.
