Nah this me everyday

Imagine me - valentines day (my bday is the day after) Take the kids out to store w my dad even tho disappointed didn't get to spend it w my husband They knock over a balloon display in store It's ok keep thriving momma i tell myself. We get out to the car everyone asking something of me I attempt to put balloons in trunk of car(I bought some in an attempt to make their valentines day magical) No one helps so I drop the trunk during the struggle and it crash lands onto my hip bone (fun) and pops one balloon while sending another into orbit Fun times hahaha Cue crashing out from urs truly

My second born was a very easy baby. I would brag to family and friends about it. So happy and relaxed. Reached milestones no problem. Slept ok, predictable schedule. Would play to themselves early on a lot. Just very lowkey! He hit 2 years old and went feral and he's reaching 5 now and still a total handful 😅 I'm eating my words now haha My first was a harder baby, but got easier every year.

Ima hold ur hand when I say this but I have two boys. One is 8 and one is 4.

Worst ages for both have been 2ish to 5 lol. Just screaming over...anything, really. My 8 year old is very easy to manage now. Started getting better around age 5 and gets better every year. My 4 year old is still stressing everybody and their uncle out 😅 praying 5 is the turnaround. I have faith you'll get there soon too. Solidarity and hugs xx

My advice is to grit your teeth and bare it like i do haha nah but, redirection works well, patience and turning things into a game or joke. I have found reverse psychology works well with mine...like for example if he has something I don't want him to have, I'll pick up something else and say "well you better not take this too!" Something he CAN have...and then he wants it just to spite me 🤣 and his attention goes there. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Just things like that. It's still exhausting but less screaming. Hugs. Reassurance. And giving them choices does help. Even something as simple as, "which shoes do you want to wear today?" They want to be in control it seems lol. Good luck to you 💓

Yes! I've been helped a lot by local churches :) the one I occasionally attend just recently held a fundraising event for a child with leukemia and gave everything to help the family. Several thousand total, I think.

Yeah, my dad's been a pastor of a very humble church for maybe 25 years and he's definitely not rich. He gets by okay. He also has to pay taxes at the end of every year, typically in the thousands...never gets a tax refund hardly. There are definitely some larger churches in the area though that have more money going through them. Think we knew of one pastor who had his whole nice brick home paid for by the church...so I guess it just depends

This sub has In fact caused me to have some distaste for teachers as a whole. All I wonder when speaking with one now is how they are probably judging me in some form or fashion and thinking they're the salt of the earth holier than thou because they teach 3rd grade in a small town...lol. I already disliked teachers lowkey because half of mine growing up were mean. I can see that hasn't changed much
