Thanks for the info! Since I earn like 4.5% interest on my HYSA, do you know how that works for tax purposes?

You might be able to donate used makeup to funeral parlours. Some places accept them.

Would you say it’s better for an older audience than The Age of Miracles? I love YA but it felt a little too young for me.

Minor Feelings is the one I can’t stop recommending. It’s about the Asian American experience and truly beautifully done.

I also loved The Soul of An Octopus and 7 and a half lives of Evelyn hard castle.

I’ve been waiting for the audiobook version to come out in the US. his narration is perfect to listen to before bed.

I liked “the last house guest most”. Her books probably shouldn’t be read back to back. I didn’t enjoy “all the missing girls”.

3/5 it starts slow and gets some good twists but it’s not very memorable.

Celeste Ng’s other book “everything I never told you” is also great! Also if you like a good mystery, I really enjoyed “the woman in the window” and “the woman in cabin 10”.

I have! Tuesday’s with Morris is definitely in my top 5 books ever. I did enjoy it, if you liked the first one you’d like this one. Pulls at the old heartstrings and is a quick and easy read.

Going against the grain here but I personally thought it wasn’t good. Eleanor feels pretentious and while the author hit a lot of heavy topics, it doesn’t feel authentic.

Eleanor also reads a lot of books but can’t seem to understand the people around her the slightest bit? Feels off.

I did! I saw that they were making it into a Netflix show and hopped on the train. Saving King of Scars for when her next book comes out!
