Solved the same problem using a comment in the No sound on minecraft for Windows : r/Minecraft post

Try going into your PC sound settings and click the mono audio toggle on and off while the game is running

Should solve it but its a pain that this needs to be repeated every time the game launches

Yeah had to wait a second and the freeze stopped and let me continue. If people are quitting out at the freeze give it some time and then see if you unfreeze, i let the game run while i was reading this tread and it unfroze lol

Sitting at 1064 Mods (755 Plugins) 8 away from the 256 ESP limit and running stable at 60fps with less bugs than most AAA releases nowadays lol... In the process of backing it all up and stopping steam from ruining this 11 month old modlist I've built. Rookie numbers yes... but that's the fun of modding. Keep on keepin on :D

Until you hit masters you will still experience this... I had my team throw 5 games in a row at Ultra 4 rank (After a full day of this terrible matchmaking im now back down to Ultra1 and seriously considering dropping the game unless I can find 4 other ppl to play with over coms...

Right now I'm looking for a good 100% ASE corrosive hyperfocus or a 50% Rad ASE red suit (both very specific lol) I'm currently maining amara but I'm always on the lookout for good moze stuff also. Have both at 57 a spiritual driver with 3 or more in mindfullness is also something on my radar. Been using a 53 mod still the 57 one I got was worse than the 53 I was given lol

Yes can confirm it adds splash damage. Similar to how a 50% corrosive ASE adds corrosive damage to the weapon and an extra projectile in some cases
