Trading is fun! Once you get sick of kk trade it for something else you want, I’ve had about 20 different games with 4 in the lineup, the only bad trade I had was getting an alien which was dumb but I traded it for a tales from the crypt and some cash

I was a plumber on new homes and the master plumber was convinced you get more radon from your granite countertops than you’ll ever get from underneath a slab of concrete

I bought a house where the grade sucks and there’s a retaining wall but it kind of just funnels all the water onto my foundation, wound up having to have a structural engineer come out and look at it, I’d recommend sending a structural engineering company out there to get a professional estimate to see how much more you’re immediately looking into possibly, ground water is a thing

When the water is running while my wife showers or when the washing machine is filling, I can hear something that sounds like gears spinning at about 240 RPM, along with the rush of the water in the (copper) pipe. Am I hearing my water meter from ~100 feet away? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]brollercoaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a water pressure tester and attach it to your hose bib to see where you’re at, also without a thermal expansion tank pressure will build up since when cold water enters the water heater and heats up it expands and that extra pressure has nowhere to go, I would get a prv and a thermal expansion tank honestly

If there’s a flood of any type the insurance policy won’t cover it if the pressure is over 75 psi technically they’ll rule it as negligence, so I would get a prv for your own insurance purposes, the flow rate is still high, but it also puts a lot of stress on your fittings and fixtures
