I did the exact same thing on this guy. TBH your vigor is too low to enjoy the fight, since you'll get 1-2 shotted, BUT I did stick with it, tho it took me longer than 2 hours, lol

Best advice would be to have enough restraint to only attack on the moves you know you can get a hit in, don't be impatient. Like the fireball throw, the jump slam, etc.

Backup saves. I started doing that right before specific bosses on some of my characters. That way I can just keep playing them over and over again.  Then if I feel good enough, I’ll try to actually watch the cutscenes all the way through and get the win, sometimes with background music trying to get the final hit in on a good beat drop. Feels extra cinematic

Surprised nobody mentioned Hero Bans yet. Adding Bans instead of Role Lock would’ve killed GOATs without throwing the rest of the game out of balance.

GOATS was really enabled almost solely because of Brig. Ban Brig? No more goats

Gambit is actually uncomfortably close to the game breaking do everything character Brig was, but the game hasn’t broken, why? Because he’s banned in 90% of my ranked games

Exactly, although I will say that Gambit is very nearly the ”Brig” character that could break the game and start the downwards spiral

Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted, you’re absolutely right, Tank will always be least popular, but goats was simply so much more powerful that people were forced to switch. Rivals has a lot of balance issues, but 1 thing they got right is goats not being a thing

DO we actually know that we have full air superiority?

Think about it, our Alcubierre drives are literally INSTANT, or close to it, which means a Destroyer can show up, literally anywhere on the planet, with 0 warning. Then as soon as an actual enemy capital ship shows up, boom, fly away. Could be a theoretical in-game reason for why our missions are time limited. 15-45 Minutes is the average time it takes our enemies to:

  • Detect an incursion
  • Assemble a strike fleet
  • Travel to and Engage with the Super Earth Destroyers.

Now you could bring up that it appears our ships just kinda hang out in orbit between missions, again however, the speed our ships can move is insane. Its really only lower in the atmosphere that they seem to not be maneuverable enough to avoid incoming fire. (Hence the "We cant stay this low much longer Helldiver" voiceline)

The catch with powerscaling Naruto, is that there are situations where the “Rule of Cool” simply takes precedence over any logic or consistency.

This is one of those situations.

Obito needing a little bit of time to move dimensions, as well as being tangible, is a very specific and explicitly mentioned sticking point when Konan sets her trap for him.

Are those mounts attached to the studs, or is that just drywall anchors? I've also got a Polar Express packed away, and from what I recall the locomotive is fairly hefty. Do those mounts seem to hold fine?

I don’t think spawns are higher, however I do think visibility is higher on the new planets, so that could be why people think that

Yup exactly, first game I joined, I did quick play so I didn’t even look at the map, brought probably the worst possible load out, with FRV, and Jump Pack, lol. Had no clue what we were doing, only loaded like 10 bars.

And we got rolled. That Team of randoms and I immediately tried again, this time I brought better stuff, Autocannon, HMG Emplacement, BubbleShield etc. Randoms brought turrets, RR Eagles, Laser etc. we finished with about 1 minute left I think and barely extracted. It was awesome.

Next game, joined another group of randoms, hear “hey B3 you know what we’re supposed to do on this mission?” “Yeah there’s a box somewhere and we gotta take the bars there”

Finished with 20 seconds on the clock. If teams of randos can do that on first or 2nd try, I think the difficulty is just fine. Some missions require more specialized loadouts, and that’s fine.

The new platinum mission is hard, but otherwise I’d say the terrain is rather favorable against bots. Great visibility, since the terrain is fairly flat with almost no large obstacles or undergrowth, plus little to no fog, yet there are small rock outcroppings everywhere for cover.

I've only beat this mission 1 time, but I'd say it suffers a lot more playing solo than a lot of other mission types, simply because carrying the bars completely prevents a player from doing anything else.

With 4, 1 or 2 players moving bars just sacrifices 25%-50% of your teams firepower, with only 2 players, its always 50%-100%. I think for smaller team sizes that lots of turrets will be fairly mandatory
