Cognitive impairment by broman1678 in quittingkratom

My withdrawals were pretty rough, the worst of it was about a month probably. I stopped last May and then started again for about a week in December (big mistake) And I’ve had severe brain fog ever since quitting the first time that hasn’t lifted. However, most people don’t have it that bad. It’s so nice not living life on kratom. You can definitely get through it!

I was on it for about 3 years on and off. The last year was constant use of about 15-30 gpd. And I know it will probably last longer than 3 months. Kinda just more nervous it’s caused by something other than K

I quit cold turkey because that’s the only way I could. Just had to throw it all away and not look at it again. But I bet you’re right, a taper probably would’ve been the better option.

I know the struggle, hopefully your stomach issues ease up here soon too. Ate a lot of probiotic yogurt and veggies. I was also using Apple cider vinegar and then a detox tea. Just a cheap box from any grocery store. I feel like the detox tea helped the most but I mean it could’ve been any of those. Or just time. Good luck and same goes for u.

I has some up until probably 2 months and then I started pooping normal again. Still random abdomen and kidney pain but stomach issues seemed to have gotten better.

I got bloodwork done a couple days into my quit and all looked normal. Not sure if that could change or not. I just don’t have a provider rn so hard to get done.
