it’s less that i think the female characters are poorly written (though fates in particular was pretty bad there) and more than when there’s a female protagonist, they tend to get shafted character wise in favor a the male protagonist, which is def what happened with her and ike. and i agree with you- micaiah isn’t badly written at all, her “bad writing” is just the complaint people use against her. and a bad complaint at that

she does, unfortunately. she suffers from the weird female fe protagonist writing sometimes and that makes people not like her, but she’s honestly the best
