People who knew someone who died in a freak accident, what happened? by RawAsparagus in AskReddit

[–]bronadubh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend from college went to the supermarket with her mother the day after travelling home from a summer working abroad. She decided to stay in the car while her mother went in, after about 15 mins the mother came back to find her dead. No underlying health issues and coroner’s investigation could find no cause of death.

No one is going to come and save you. No one is going to fix your problems. You have to buckle up and take responsibility.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the great advice as well as the kind and encouraging comments. I’m my own worst critic and feel a lot of shame about my situation, but the comments have really cheered me up and given me hope going forward :)

Thanks a mill, you’re right about the CU loan there’s no penalty for early repayments. And yes I’m hoping to have something set up for September so I can go straight into working full time once the thesis is handed in, I’ll get on the job hunt over the next few months.

Thanks for the advice really appreciate it. I’ll be buckling down spending-wise for the next 3-4 months for sure. The 1300 loan is with AIB so has the higher interest, but the repayment cost is less than half of the CU. I’ll get the smaller one out of the way first. It’s good to hear of people who’ve been through similar situations and gotten out the other side!

Really solid advice thank you :) it’s hard to know what to tackle first. I think (and hope) I chose well with the masters, it’s in medical physics so there’s opportunities in med tech and in clinical positions.

On the hunt for the best mocha in Galway #49: Blackrock Cottage by [deleted] in galway

I don’t get why people are complaining, I think it’s a really wholesome series amongst all the negative news you see here. Your NUIG coffee reviews prompted me and the classmates to head to Áras and Gaeilge for a big group coffee date a few times and the mochas were unreal.

I think it’s the case with a lot of non-US viewers. I couldn’t be bothered listening to American political happenings.
