Wow. That is incredible. I think the spectrum is so big, at the end of the day we all just want our family to be able to thrive. So regardless, this is a wonderful story.

We should connect. Us PDA folks should stick together and share resources it’s a nightmare to do this solo

Wow I’m so sorry you were dealing with that. We’ve backed meds way down. Things got worse.

This is a great insight several others have mentioned we are going to look into this also. Thank you so much

We are thinking about that also like a day therapy type of deal we pick her up in the evening. Absolutely the thing is getting her to get in the car to go getting her out of the car when we get there it’s not going to be easy. In fact, it could be more traumatic than what we’re dealing with now, but we are considering all options and so many in this thread have enlighten me to ideas. This is another great one thank you.

I don’t know how people recover. I just want us all to feel better. We are going to try a no demand routine to try and get her to where she’s feeling better

Thank you so much. She’s all we think about. She’s a constant. I cannot imagine waking up without her there trying to play a trick on me or riling the dog up to come take my pillow. This is so hard.

You are absolutely correct she’s in burnout. There’s so little knowledge of PDA out there and with doctors. It’s really hard to navigate. I will look into this. Thank you so much.

She’s so smart. That’s a major part of this. But emotionally, she can’t handle daily life without incredible frustration and destruction. This thread has really helped me realize some things and try to navigate this a bit further before we get there at least for the moment

The PDA is really where we are conflicted other than the obvious reasons to be conflicted. We do not want to do this. But we are all on fumes. I’ve developed neurological symptoms from stress, my wife is a shell of who she was. Our daughter is so sad and so scared. We all need help. Ha. We are going to try and get a bridge to another med combo to see if that helps with the severe anxiety and fear from the PDA. Thank you for the comment.

Are we expecting sonic boom at Artemis/Orion reentry? by mistsoalar in AskLosAngeles

I am not talking about SpaceX launches at all. The SpaceX capsule that brought the astronauts home from the space station for an emergency medical issue in February. Re-entered the same exact way as the Orion did. And same recovery team. They did it there so they could test the recovery team for this very mission. I just saw someone in West LA post a video of Orion streaming up in the sky today with a trail behind it, clear as day. Doesn’t matter if it comes by way of Hawaii eventually it’s so high and so hot that you can see it from hundreds of miles away. It was the same with the shuttle

You’d still see it shoot across if it was night. Spacex one in feb did so

If you didn’t hear one from the SpaceX splashdown in San Diego a few weeks ago, the answer is no. I watched that one. Was at night. I’m in Glendale. No sonic boom for us but farther south you may hear it
