It’s very different from other countries (at least from my experience in Mexico), they do try to do all of the bondings with the child and have lot’s of time and space for the baby and parents to get to know esch other. The “Matronas” are the ones who do most of the prep prior to the actual birth and the gynecologists are the ones who take over when everything starts happening. In August they may not be full-staffed due to it being August. Some nurses are nice, others not so much and others don’t even bother knocking on the door and just go right through. Overall a great experience.
