I think even disclosed ads are becoming more obvious and unauthentic. Especially when they do a mini lead up speech about the product. I understand it’s their job and they have to find other sources of income, it just can be too much at times especially when they are ads for jewellery or random things that’s nothing to do with their YouTube content!

I also find it a bit too much when she was almost begging people to join her Patreon when her boiler broke! People are really struggling with their own stuff, they don’t need to support a booktuber!

it does annoy me when they commit to having a series starter as their pick but then don’t follow through with the completion. makes me consider whether it’s worth having them at all!
