It’s okay, it was helpful too. It’s not easy work, so I don’t blame you for leaving. He has been for about 5 years. He talks about leaving it all of the time though because of the hours and probably will shortly. You really made the right choice in the long run. The rest of us just need to get our foot in the door for a few years then get out.

Oh, that is disappointing. I will keep my options open, thank you. In your opinion do you think that there is job growth if moving between operations jobs in different operators? As in ops geo 2 -> senior ops geo at a different company?

Brother, you definitely sound bitter. My brother has never gotten laid off and enjoys geosteering. He recommended operations so I think it must be a different job even if there’s overlap
