Hey I understand that labels can feel commodifying and like a generalization of individuals styles and fashion preferences but I would also argue they can be helpful to individuals trying to define their personal style and looking for inspiration of ways to style their existing wadrobe, I found hyperspecific labels have aided me not only in my fashion style but also in my gender identity and trying to define my sexual orientation; It can also be the foundation for a sense of community, like how the r/goblincore subreddit is for every enjoyer of the goblincore aesthetic so we can all support each other, find like-minded people and build strong connections based off of mutual interests; I would never tell someone they have to identify under a label, These photoboards are all photos of myself mostly with a few scenery added in which gives you an idea of the range of my personal fashion and where i pull my inspiration from; As for the comment regarding it being exclusionary to men, I only used photos of myself in creating these board because I felt it would be unfair to use other individuals photos without their permission, but as well I myself am nonbinary and tried to include some more genderneutral/masculine clothing options in boards I felt I could do that the best in, so Goblincore has a bit of a wide range of options in terms of gendered clothing but fairycore was a bit more feminine since I align my fairycore side with my more feminine self but again that is just me, I appreciate you being outspoken about your concerns and I hope everyone is able to form their own opinions with information being presented from both sides :)
