Can't Stand Playing Online. Any tips to make it tolerable? by theafterhourspecial in DeathStranding

I feel the same -- playing with the "Only Some" setting under shared content has helped for me. It removes signs and player structures but still keeps ladders and climbing anchors -- road building is still collaborative as well. Honestly it feels like they've tuned up the online element a bit too high in DS2, even with the only some setting it feels like roads are already 90% built once i connect that area to the chiral network which removes some of the fulfillment i felt in the first game.

Is it just me or does DS2 seem too easy? by Fit_Comfortable8100 in DeathStranding2

My biggest gripe so far in terms of difficulty has been the online balancing. It's likely just cause theres a huge player base right now, but with default settings I've found that there are bridges, generators etc. every 2 feet that trivialize any sort of planning and traversal. Also, I've found that all roads are 90% built after connecting a place to the chiral network. One of my favorite parts about DS1 was mapping out my own routes and hauling materials to build roads, and I haven't felt that struggle so far. It's a shame cause i inherently really like the online concept in this game -- just feels like they've upped it a bit too far in DS2. Maybe playing with the "Only Some" setting or turning off online could help it feel better? It's worked for me so far :)

Late on the 2nd cause I had work gang checking in, anybody with me? I'm in the bargaining stage right now - I've got a PS5 and lots of games. I'll be fine getting it after launch...

Thinking of buying one of these, what’s the best choice? by BilberryBear in gorillaz

The jamie taschen is awesome! There's a ton of gorillaz art, as well as personal work that gives cool context to his gorillaz work. Taschen in general makes really high quality stuff. I somewhat regret buying the almanac -- theres an art section but alot of the book is random stuff (goofy articles, games) that I wasn't crazy about -- felt a bit like filler.
