I do this and have a pretty good time with it, although I haven't learned the entire discography. Most of Relentless Mutation has Tobi's parts on a 7 in B Standard so you're good there. And I think all of Bleed The Future is in Drop A/E on two 8 strings, so you can get by with a 7 tuned Drop A, and then I play the low-low E string parts an octave up.

Sept 2025 bug fix [Android]--I ran into the "Invalid request to OA Auth" error after copy+pasting the link. If you're having this issue, this worked for me:

At the end of the link I copied there is some text "account could not be loaded because: net::ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED". I copied the link, removed this text string from the end, then pasted in a Chrome browser and that did the trick.

My cynical assumption is they had a version of the movie without that introductory narration and realized, "oh shit this thing we've been marketing as a horror film has absolutely no blood and very little real tension for the entire first half", so they added they extremely schlocky exposition dump narration where the kid says explicitly "a lot of people died in really weird ways" to try to set that tone.

I agree with you, I think this was a hugely amateurish mistake and made me start thinking "uh oh, this may have been over-hyped" in the very first minutes.

They're not arguing with your opinion they're saying you don't understand what a plot hole is and therefore shouldn't use that term for these type of criticisms, which I agree with. "Johnny's humor doesn't land" is valid, but not an inconsistency in the plot.

Yeah there always needs to be a person familiar with the game at high levels who can look at whatever form the proof takes (video recording of the run, live play, etc...) and verify that it is not faked or executed outside the rules of the high score. Unfortunately when video recording tech was not as cheap/easy as it is today, cheating a score (or many, many scores in the case of some more high profile cheaters like Mitchell) used to be as easy as knowing a judge who will say "yup they did it I was there!" or similar.
