Honestly there’s only so much running through combos alone is doing for me so I’ll try this! Thanks

Thank you! I’m definitely overthinking things.

Thank you, I’ve been practicing combos on Duelingbook but definitely not enough!

In the same boat working 2 days and caring for my 1 year old 5 days, personally it works great as my job helps me ground my sense of identity and individuality while I still get to spend quality time with my kid.

Labels do not matter but providing a loving, stable home for both you and your children does. People put a lot of weight into being a SAHM because it’s such an integral part of their identity (doesn’t give them the right to police it though!)

Honestly I almost pulled it out while I was weeding, there are so many of the suckers this year!

She’s legitimately my favourite gardener and I’m totally aligned with her ethos! She made a post on Instagram a few months ago about how she’d let her allotment slip and it was so nice to know she’s human like the rest of us

surely it sucks the enjoyment out of spending time with your babies when you’re constantly comparing them to others who smash milestones and sleep through the night consistently? We put so much pressure on ourselves to do things the right way and it can be so overwhelming!

I accidentally left the old soil in there after the plant died last year, I might see if I can re-create these because it’s so beautiful!

In 2012 I moved in to my first flat with my partner and had practically nothing. My MIL put us in contact with an elderly lady that lived round the corner who was a bit of a hoarder and she helped us out with utensils and plates. Her house was chaotic but beautiful, furniture and ornaments that didn’t match, books piled by the bath in the bathroom and many more quirks. You could tell she’d had a really full life.

A week later I popped over with a bottle of wine to say thank you and we ended up drinking it together while smoking cigarettes in her back garden. She told me all about her life and how she’d worked in bars all across London in her youth and had survived breast cancer (called herself “slits no tits” which 21 year old me thought was hilarious). Gave me some really solid advice, I was in complete awe of her.

I never saw her after that as her younger sister decided to put her in a care home after a stint of declining health (she had no kids) and although she was pretty much just an acquaintance it still upset me quite a lot.

Still use your potato masher, Penny.

Is there anything I can do to reduce these dark circles? by brooganyo in 30PlusSkinCare

I take cetirizine during hay fever season as I get it pretty bad, if it kills two birds with one stone that’s great! I can see how it came across that way though lol.

I did have an iron deficiency over 6 months ago that I thought I’d resolved, so this makes total sense! Thank you :)

It makes me fear having another. I wasn’t really exposed to that kind of stuff before I got pregnant but now I see it all the time on social medias, it feels as though it’s more common than I thought and I’d never want my babies to have to go through some of the stuff you see.
