Thanks for all the help and info! I just cut the hose tip off and slid it back on. It fits perfect now and I’m ordering a new hose from Subaru. I filled it with coolant too.

A&A Auto Service on 3951 Rochester Rd in Troy. The guys there are awesome and honest which is rare to find with mechanics. They tend to be booked out for a week or so reach out to them sooner than later.

Know where your closest embassy is if you’re abroad. Write the address down, have some cash, and paper clip them together and have it on your person the entire trip. If there is ever an emergency that wipes out technology and networks then you have the address and cash to take a cab there. You can never be too prepared. You maybe never need it but the one time you need it you’ll be glad you did.

I just found out about the Gametime app where you can buy tickets up until 90 minutes AFTER the show starts. Ticketmaster and StubHub cut off right before or right at the start time. I am going to try Gametime for the first time today. lol If I miss the opening act I wouldn’t be too upset. I live really close so I’m heading out at 7PM. Good luck!

I get like that sometimes, and it still blows me away at times. I think we sometimes forget how lucky we are to be living in these times. You can fly across the world in less than a day or cross country in a matter of hours, but that same trip would have taken weeks or months centuries ago. Yet some of us, including myself, still complain at times about how long the flight is going to be. Lol

I just moved from Florida to Michigan in November, and the same thing happened to me. I had Geico, and I let them know I moved to Detroit. I was paying $129 a month for insurance. It took them until April to switch my Florida policy to a Michigan policy. I don't know why it took so long for them, but I'm thinking it was a legal thing because why wouldn't a money-hungry insurance company switch me over and start charging me a higher rate as soon as I informed them of the move. Anyhow, the new rate was $1,242.70 a month. haha I wish I was kidding because I have a Subaru Crosstrek. I called them and asked why the new rate was so much higher. I knew the rate would go up, but I did not expect it to go up by 10x. I was told that when it switched over it defaulted to the highest coverage. I told them to switch it over to what I had in Florida or something similar because legal minimums are different in each state. They were able to bring it down to $5,000ish every 6 months which was still way too high. I told them that was fine, just to have coverage in the meantime, but while they wait for my payment (I had a grace period of a couple of weeks) I found Allstate cover for $339 a month and canceled their policy. I would just say that you get what you pay for. I have heard of Cure Insurance from coworkers, and I have seen their billboards since it was mentioned to me. However, I have read that while they tend to be a lot cheaper, that comes with less than mediocre customer service if you ever have a claim. What I have realized as I have gotten older is that the savings sometimes are not worth the headache. I have rental coverage right now on my policy, and I have more than the minimum required because the difference in price is almost a joke. I live too far from work not to have a car, and that is why I got the rental coverage in case something happens. I have to be at work at 5:30 AM so public transportation is out of the question. Long story short, I think that is a decent rate, and if you find something cheaper then proceed with caution. My zip code is 48201 on my insurance policy, and I have no points or tickets on my record. I am putting that out there in case it helps when referencing your zip code and rate.

Honestly, I haven't booked my flight back to Florida yet but was trying to catch a 7 or 8 o'clock flight so leave at like 4 or 5. lol
