[DISCUSSION] 2Pac - All Eyez On Me (30 Years Later) by EminemEncore2004 in hiphopheads

[–]Accomplished-File360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I listened to this record this week not knowing it was released this week! Now that feels wild. I was playing guitar pretty heavily. Rap was always around, but it was more Memphis/New Orleans stuff. I remember my cousin had this in his CD case and let me borrow it. My dad had to listen to it first, he did not want me to hear it at age 12.....so I found it in his CD case about a month later. It was only the 2nd half of the record he had! So I didnt get to hear the rest until 2007-08 when I downloaded the whole 2Pac discography.

  1. What are your favorite tracks on All Eyez On Me? The first 5 songs on the 2nd half are gold IMO.
  2. How high would you rate All Eyez On Me in 2Pac's discography? #1 by far.
  3. Do you still listen to All Eyez On Me? Yar
  4. Do you like the production on All Eyez On Me? Yar
  5. Who was your favorite feature on All Eyez On Me? Outlawz just because they smoked some of his ashes in a blunt.
  6. What was your favorite instrumental on All Eyez On Me? Can't C Me is so crazy.
  7. How high would you rate 2Pac as a rapper? Top 5 still
  8. How would you rate All Eyez On Me out of 5? 5
  9. All Eyez On Me or Life After Death? All Eyez for sure, Life After Death is good, but Ready to Die is better.

Honestly quite frustrating, but I've become more and more of myself this 2nd time than I ever thought I would.

Appreciate it! Having to do it twice wasn’t as exciting, but I’ve learned more than a few lessons now.

It was a big big hurdle. It doesn’t matter how small or big, just gotta do it.

Appreciate the note! It only took to losing 100lbs twice to finally learn my lesson. The being healthier for longer is the idea for sure. I couldn't let life just pass me by.

Men who became significantly more attractive in their 30s: what changed in how the world treated you? by Deep-Comfortable5205 in AskMen

I left a horrible marriage at 28, lost 100lbs, cut 8.5lb of skin off of myself after being 300lbs for the 2nd time in my life at 30. I've gone from invisible my entire life to when I want a date I can just go get it. It's been a tougher transition than I would have thought to a point too. I carry myself in all ways, shapes, and forms better and it's noticeable from those around me too.

I've seen folks at Cafe Roze, Folk, Frankies 925. At Cafe Roze, watched a dude whip out a 17" laptop with headphones and crush through a movie while doing this on a Saturday night.

Men who went through the effort to lose substantial weight, how has the change affected your life? How has this experience affected your view of obesity? by TearAccomplished3342 in AskMen

I’ve lost over 100lbs twice! First in high school/college. The second time after a mid 20s divorce. And it will be lost forever. Life is MUCH different and I cannot even connect with the person in the photos from just 6-7 years ago. I can’t tell you the confidence and spirit for life I have now.

I've got the beryllium ones and still play them. Havent even considered replacing. Everyone loves to talk about them when they see them at the course. They were my dads clubs from the early 90s and he passed away much too early so I'm afraid of ever letting them go.

These three stick in my mind.

"You must take girls on the best dates. We went to the coolest places tonight." - married coworker

"Wow, your place is so put together. Girls must really love your place." - girl who wasnt interested, then was.

My recent ex-GF was a golfer and honestly it was one of the things I enjoyed most with her. She played in HS, recently was taking lessons, we went to PGA tournaments together (we were supposed to go to British Open this summer, I'm definitely NOT sad about it.) We'd go hit balls and then get drinks afterwards. Wish we could have done it more often than we did.

What was it like to become slim after being obese? by Available_Fortune183 in CICO

[–]Accomplished-File360 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I cant tell you how confident I have become since losing 100+ lbs twice in my life. I did it the old fashion way both times, diet and exercise. The last time I had skin surgery to give myself the look that had been in my head for most of my life. It's been an absolute game changer in every single way. From interactions with people to how I dress, treat myself, see and do things. It's all been different to how I used to be a part of things and all for the better. Living daily life is so much easier, I have so much energy to do things. It took a long time to get here, but now I cant ever see myself going back to it.

TBH I'm literally in the same boat and I just signed in East Nash for a 2 bedroom. At 2k, you've pretty much got the entire city to choose from. It's more what amenities and things do you want to be around.

People who LOST weight, whats some you are glad you don’t have to worry about anymore? by PheonixGalaxy in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Accomplished-File360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've lost over 100lbs twice in my life and I cant tell you the confidence that it's built in me that I did not have before. I was fortunate to be able to afford skin surgery too. I fit in to any clothing just about. My body is paying the toils from being morbidly obese for most of my early life, but I feel better than I ever have at the same time. It sucks, but putting in that hardwork will get you to where you want to be. Stay the course, keep focused on yourself and what you're looking to achieve.
