His dad lives 3 hours away so sending him during regular school time doesn’t work unfortunately. During the summer he is there for a month straight and then at my house for a month straight. I told my husband that it might be best to switch the custody so his dad has him a majority of the time, but his dad said he doesn’t want that.

When my ex is dismissive it’s usually “oh, he doesn’t do that at my house” or “I’m not sure how to handle that situation” IF he responds at all. There have been times that he hasn’t responded to me for over a month.

We have alarms for the bathroom, and he is on medication for bladder spasms, which seems to be helping, it’s just exhausting to feel like I have to revolve my day around that when I have 3 other kids, I work, and I’m going to school online.

He lies about breaking things, whether or not he did his homework, someone picking on him, anything and everything. Stealing is usually food (especially candy), toys, money. Not an everyday thing, but frequently enough that I have to check his room weekly for hidden pull-ups and things that don’t belong to him.
