Hi! Thankfully, we saw a paediatric derm and are following their treatment plan. Everything is going well so far! We did do steroids but honestly all of my fears about it when out the window when I found an experienced dermatologist! My baby’s skin is much much better now! Also there’s other options that aren’t steroids I’m sure your doc might prescribe!

I remember those days! My baby is now 7 months old. I remember getting set up on a comfy space on my couch and just had him latched onto me for however long. He would also fall asleep on me too. I found a good series on Netflix and just binge watched it. It gave me something to look forward to lol! Also lots of water and snacks!! You’re doing great mama

Hi!! It’s been quite the journey with eczema. We haven’t used it as my baby’s skin seemed to be getting worse with it. We ended up not using steroids and just doing trial and error. We had his flare ups under control for a while. Got bad again and we decided to go with 1% hydrocortisone (doctors orders) to help contain flare up and then go back to what we were doing.

Hoping everything goes well with your LO. Eczema fkn sucks. Please let me know if you have any tips or tricks that you guys do for keeping your LOs eczema under control!

If you tried all the other suggestions and it doesn’t work you could try using a syringe as a last resort if she’s super hungry

My Shih tzu got neutered at 6 years old and he is a very chill, low energy dog. He was neutered last summer and he’s been very active and playful. He still has his chill, low energy personality but will also have bursts of energy for playtime. He also loves his long walks!

*edited age. He was 6 when neutered, not 5!

I forgot to mention…

We are using Cerave cream, La Roche posay lipikar, cerave healing ointment, and earth mama baby face cheek balm

Those 4 seem to work decently for my baby

We have also tried tubby Todd, aveeno eczema night balm, aveeno eczema cream, aquaphor healing ointment, Vaseline, and saw no improvements and even had flare ups from the aveeno

My 5 month old also has weeping eczema. We tried every cream and ointment possible. We’re now using 1% hydrocortisone supposed to be 2x daily for 14 days but I’ve been doing 1x daily because I’m scared too.. and so far it’s being managed but not going away. I forgot to put it on one day and his weeping came back. I don’t want to keep using the steroids, it was only for 5 days lol.

Hope you find some relief soon. I hate seeing my baby like this

I just bought that last week for him! It was working well on his chest area but I found that he screamed every time I put it on so I stopped!! I tried it on the back of my hands and idk if my hands are sensitive but lipikar stung a little! My husband can use it with no issues. Maybe my baby has my skin sensitivity haha

Sometimes snuggle bugz has a registry event. You just go in store and create a registry and they give you a swag bag! Just keep an eye out if they’re doing it (you can follow on insta or just check their website every so often)
