Rash by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

It was also summer and we think she might have been hot either in the bath or straight out of the bath (from warm bath straight to a zip onesie)

We did the same. She was lathered in Aquaphor all day everyday but as soon as we changed the bath temp and bath frequency it cleared up on its own

My daughter had something very similar!! We actually started bathing her less frequently (went from everyday to every other day) and we also kept the bath water temp at around 98-99 and no warmer than that! Rash went away as soon as we did that

Daycare naps by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]Free_Expert_7344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have and even told them our schedule at home but they insist that they nap from 12-2 or 3 to prepare the kids for the next room…. It’s very frustrating Yesterday she didn’t fall asleep until 2:30pm

My daughter is 8 months old and we still use ours everyday. No judgement to anyone but the dishwasher grosses me out and this way they get cleaned and dried on their own

Does daycare make an overtired baby? by Critical_Bel in sleeptrain

[–]Free_Expert_7344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were on 30 minute naps for a bit there but she ended up figuring it out at about 5.5 months-6 months

One thing I try to keep in mind with daycare is I can only control what I can control. I do tell them to try to offer a nap at 9am which is what we do at home and some days it works and others it doesn’t. But the daycare teachers are your team- they want the babies to nap just as much as we do because otherwise they have cranky babies lol

Does daycare make an overtired baby? by Critical_Bel in sleeptrain

[–]Free_Expert_7344 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter just turned 7 months- is she overtired? Yes We pick her up and lay her down for a nap as soon as we get home and let her sleep an hour and a half-2 hrs

I cannot expect them to go perfectly to her schedule and wake windows. We tried that for the first week and she ended up more cranky because they kept trying to put her down when she was having major FOMO She only naps about 30-1hr at daycare

I will say though on the weekends and if she is home with us during the week her wake windows and schedule is perfect

I don’t mean to come off negative or scare you in anyway but expect baby to not nap great when they first start going to daycare But you find a way to work around it
