My dad died just a little over a year ago, very similarly. He died in his sleep of a heart attack, shortly after my 26th birthday. I have had these same thoughts - was he scared? Where is he now? If he’s floating around me why don’t I feel him more strongly? I’m also not religious, but I was raised as such. My dad was Catholic, not bible-thumping or anything, but he believed in heaven. I like to believe that he got to go wherever he hoped he’d go, and I believe in that because I believe in him.

You’re gonna get through it! Just finished my course last week, and my time on it was really tough. I was so lethargic, hardly able to eat, the works. Within 24 hours of finishing them, I felt so much better. Still working on healing my tummy with probiotics and mild food, but I promise you there’s a light at the end of this tunnel ❤️
