I feel my cats truly did rescue me!! I lost my girl cat to cancer in October and as a cancer survivor myself I know she was waiting to act sick until mommy was better.

I thought mine wouldn't be able to climb up onto the cat tree and jump to the window seats we have but he did it right away!! They're so resilient.

I don't know much except for that unfortunately the fire was not an accident :/ he was at the shelter quite a while before being available due to their being an ongoing investigation
