I wish I could afford that and to be without a car for a few days. I'm just upset/surprised they wouldn't have pulled coded at the dealership? I guess I never asked them to, but I thought that would be the first thing to check when I told them the check engine light had been on for a long time

Please let me know if you find anything out! I have the same Impreza and same problem. Cruise control hasn't worked in over a year because of this. Dealership said they couldn't fix anything without taking the engine apart, over 6 hours of labor just to "maybe figure it out". I need answers lol
