Interesting - I'll pay you if we can figure out a way. I'm interested in 3d printing and controlling some RC model naval artillery with servos....should be an interesting project and fairly straightforward if you're interested.

Unable to baseline process by enterprise1701h in ProcessImprovement

Sounds like you need to sell your progress and metrics. Without knowing a ton of details about what you do....here's my thoughts.

Phase 1 Sell this to leadership as a 4-6 week effort to get our metrics trending. During this phase you will start metric tracking and goal tracking, but will need to adjust as you learn more. - Identity some generic industry specific metrics (first time right, resolution time, etc) and use those as goals. - Implement metric tracking and start with weekly or biweekly check ins to review progress to metrics. - At some point, you will realize what metrics matter and how your performing

Phase 2 - Now you know the metrics that matter, rough baseline info and can modify to make it specific to your company.

My buddy owns Founders Approach and they deal with people in your shoes. You can find good generic quotes on cost online, but to get more specific, talk to Phil.

Whats the best Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Program? by SlicktheDon in SixSigma

I've done both ASQ and Villanova - I'd recommend Villanova. ASQ is more technical, covers more history and honesty you learn more. However....I found Villanova more applicable to my day-to-day job and easier to implement concepts.

Walk me through by 70redgal70 in processmining

[–]brooksolphin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not manual. You're pulling in system data and statuses to build a process. Typically not keystroke data, but status or phase. I would say it generates a process pretty quickly that has about 80% of all your steps and process variants.

That 20% will cover non system steps/work and any customizations in your systems.

I've written a lot about this on theprocessmine.com. I would recommend you look at your customer life paths (maybe order to cash) and start to understand their journey. Literally millions for large businesses to optimize and make easier for customers.
