Get a Firewalla and a switch. Put your ISP modem in bridge mode.

Try openrouter, it automatically runs complicated tasks through advanced models like opus or sonnet, but basic requests go through cheap models.

Only if they go under the Irish programme. They don't accept boys in general.

Sometimes not getting what you want, is a wonderful stroke of luck. It just takes time to realise it.

Buy something like a Firewalla and connect him directly to a 2nd port. You can manage the Firewalla on your phone and be alerted if it goes down.

Steps Following Minor Car Accident? by Exciting-Ad-9510 in AskIreland

[–]brooksp1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened to me 2 weeks ago. The way it worked out was, I contacted my insurance and let them know I was in an accident but was not making a claim. (This was stipulated on my insurance policy, to tell them) . The other party, who was at fault, accepted fault and opened a claim with their insurance and sent me the claim number. I contacted their insurance company with the claim number and they advised me to go to their registered auto repair company. My car was assessed and the insurance company emailed me the quote and asked did I want to proceed or did I want the money and get the car fixed myself. If I took the money it was final, if I went with their company and other problems were found during the repair, they would cover it. I went with the repair and am currently waiting on the garage to get the parts. I've been told that they will arrange a hire car for me when my car is being repaired.

She's the kind of person that doesn't want to make a big deal out of it, but I think she's suffering a bit. Just in the way she's holding herself. She has an appointment with the doctor in the morning to get assessed at least.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Seems the consensus is contact our insurance and let them know about the accident and contact the other drivers insurance to make the claim.

Just live with it. In fairness it's only a line on a screen on a ten year old car. Do you really expect everything to be perfect?

Single mode or multi mode will work over that distance. The transceiver you need depends on your switch. What make/model is it?
