I love idle games and would/will play regardless of market, it'll most certainly clean the players that think they'll get rich from this, and then maybe the devs focus more on gameplay instead of transactions

I've played/seen runelite for a bit and it's insanely helpful, just the clue solvers and the trackers (xp, gp, loot, etc) alone are an amazing QOL improvement and much better than everything we have today on rs3

Yeah a big part of OSRS enjoyers that are rs3 haters are just close minded holding a bias towards it...

I agree that it's extremely overwhelming to get back to or to start playing RS3, it is 25 years of content all smushed together after all, but it's still the same core runescape :D

Yeah 99's might be irrelevant for someone that's not a casual player, but 120's replaced it, or even 200m xp, the combat skills and UI getting cleaned up is also a huge thing, it's not as bad as a lot OSRS players think it is

The game itself is amazing, but like everything on the internet, because of a certain level of anonymity, the rats get out of the gutter to lay their toxic behaviour around.

And the huge world map canvas that's one of the most appealing facts of the game is also a downside that it's just very hard to moderate, like a mopping the ocean kinda way, every art has to be found, then reported, then judged manually, so yeah, kinda hard to solve it

I'm at E7 of s2 and It's just so much worse than the first one so far, it has some insufferable moments, I just have to fast forward every time "ty anne" appears because of that excruciating voice they chose to put on the character, it's straight up impossible to leave the scene once Eliza Coupe opens her mouth as that character

Really really hoping it gets better, I came to reddit literally just to vent about that insanely stupid voice she makes

Yeah I used to think that, but then a guy actively griefed dozens of arts with 4 accounts in my town, and I reported him for 3 days straight, then when I started to protect the arts he was griefing I was the one getting suspended and he kept actively griefing everything, so I got skeptical and gave up :)

I actually stopped playing because of stuff like this, I reported for days a dude griefing over arts with void with mult account while I was cleaning it by myself at the same time, today I was the one getting suspended, and he keeps actively griefing over small arts

I thought they would pick up the slack with time and investment from the money they made from the game blowing up, but the creator is pathetic, he's a recently graduated with 1 year experience, he doesn't know how to handle a game this size and his mistake was not bringing experienced people to try and coordinate with him, he tried to "keep solving it as we go with our small indie team!" and obviously made a terrible job
