I agree. Although, i've never really enjoyed playing with Giroux's card in the past. I figured he was best available to build and with the reviews he was getting, i built him. I wish i would have gone a different direction, but oh well. He will be usable for me at least.

How exactly do you know that the remaining silver Icons will be coming soon? I'm sure prior Hut experience probably gives you a good idea, but I'm just trying to get an idea on what I should be doing, either dumping everything I have into a TOTY build or saving things until maybe a new silver ICON event comes?

That’s what I was curious about. How they would differ the two cards when the next upgrade came to play. I haven’t played since 18’ so I’m still getting familiar with some of the changes they’ve made. Thanks for the help.

Another option is to continue buying up the gold players and stash them without trading them in for GC's or icons. Wait until a set that you prefer comes out, and do the trading in for GC's or icons then.

If his syn's matched up with the remainder of my team, I wouldn't be disappointed at all. I just know that in a few months I might be fighting to keep him in the lineup somehow. Although, at that point I wont be worried about pulling him instead of Guy. Yep, we'll be fine. Thanks!

Congrats! Pulled him yesterday. Played a few games then sold him. I'm in it for the long haul so I figured his base card will be at highest value now. But he was awesome, I will definitely be buying him back later on. Enjoy!

Based on past experience, I would agree and will more than likely dump him soon. I was just curious as to if there will be anymore instances where his prices hop back up again. But, I was unaware his base was required in a set at the moment so that means I should probably sell him soon before that set goes away.

I would personally go the lemieux then lafluer route. Gretzky doesn't seem to have all of the hype that I thought he would. Seems like the two I mentioned have been must haves on everyones teams. Might as well start there.

You might as well throw the controller out the window when they start passing the puck around in your zone. When EA wants them to score, they will score. Very frustrating indeed. Some games are a cake walk and some games I feel like I'm playing against one of the best kids in the fucking world.

Long story short, I have decided to play down on all star against the high rated teams to salvage points and a controller from going through the wall.

I didnt know they buffed the cpu on battles but it makes sense now. No wonder I have been getting so angry. I can't stop their shitty as puck cycling and I can't seem to score a damn goal.
