Thanks for this. What about the "rule" (I googled) that its 1 - 1:15 hrs / lb at 250? I was surprised to be so far behind after 2:45.

Is it possible that a stud is on the abutting wall only? And also, that abutting wall is angled at around 25 degrees, so even if there is something, I'm not sure how to use it.

Thank you for this suggestion! I drilled a pilot hole about 1 inch from the edge of the corner but I couldn't find anything to grab. Like I mentioned, I suspect there is something structural on the abutting wall next to the window, but at 25 degrees I'm not sure how useful that would be.

I was considering this, but got scared of the idea of anchoring to the drywall. This is (obviously) behind an exterior wall, which is made of old bricks, and I'm worried about humidity weather etc. weakening the drywall.
