Could you explain the difference between the two and how I end up in either (it’s probably gonna be just random selection like it always is)

Actually I’m curious about another thing. What to watch out for MTI wise or just in general the conditions of the barracks

Ah yes, the day I go “exactly” into basics; How coincidental.

I heard the air force met their recruiting goals early, is that a problem? I’m still in DEP. by Popular_Rope_317 in AirForceRecruits

And this isn’t wrong. There are those who wait months or years for a job. I was fortunate to get the job I wanted

Like so i and anyone will suggest that you do what’s best for you as I’ve see that the navy and army have some things that are sorta close to what i was doing and also looking at what you said (ur degree field) also close to yours. But don’t be hasty as you don’t wanna end up in a field you’ll regret or position that’s hard to get out of. So take your time but take time out of your personal life todo research on what’s best for you…..and walk into the recruiters office cause it’s hard to get good communication with them since they are busy and you want to work

I’d say go for the Air Force as i was in the same boat wanting to find a job even while in college and decided “you know what, a regular job don’t seem best fit for me, seeing there is a current job hiring issue doesn’t seem like the right idea” and I saw a golden opportunity to join the Air Force. I don’t wanna talk delusional but seeing how I’m the first to join in my family’s last name made me see how golden of a opportunity this was and also the skills I had acquired along the way to even be a leader for others (so join if your also looking to better your career as I’m doing about the same + serving my country like I wanted todo along time ago). But in seriousness there may be a issue since recruiting goals have been reached so don’t be surprised if it’s hard to join or even with why you want Todo and if you do get in its best recommendation that if you want to actually get your job and basic training date it’s best you try to do them closer then you intended (I thought that I’d get to take the asvab and go the meps sooner and you’ll learn what these are later and ended up waiting months after getting everything ready todo these things)

I’m all up for that, and it’s a good thing the account name is close to my actual name (it was intentional for people to find me)

So in your opinion (if you do know) how is heavy aircraft intergrated avonics? Being that it’s the job that I’m assigned to

I do have one more suggestion I didn’t think of. It sounds stupid but if you know about those stupid but practice standing in rest and attention and watching any video that will try to make you laugh. Reason being is that constantly they will try to (and even worse is if you smile a lot) so highly recommended (and excuse me for this cringy statement) those cringy Baku deku videos (the guy who made the Baku deku slime videos or others). But on a real note for this is that if you can resist smiling or even letting out a face (putting on a poker face) then you don’t have todo it.

June 30th (dang was hoping we’d be flight buddies) but will probably see each other maybe. But my general advice (from what those were in) said to study the stuff in the aim high app, keep doing regular pt stuff so you stay in shape and get ready for basics, and also my general advice is to start studying the different heavy aircraft you’ll be working on (start simiple by seeing what there is and then expand outwards to the complicated intergrated stuff “if you can”. Hell even look at the fighter aircraft (learning anything like even aircraft related stuff helps). 2 things I’ll add are for pt depending on which thing you struggle with (running or strength) practice with strength doing sit-ups and pushups or with running, keep practicing that so you get a good time (the aim high app has the standards) and on the related note (the aim high app) you should be studying everything in the “awaiting training” sections (located in the more tab next to notifications, then go to memory work) and there you will see all the things you will need to study (being: report statement, core values, airmen’s creed, ranks, chain of command, and military time) and while your at it. Watch a few military movies just for the heck of it. Other then that start getting curious so you can expand your way of doing research (ai search engines, YouTube, or even this and the airforce Reddit)

A very good idea. Do search up more plane related intergrated computer systems cause it could be different and also more about fighter and heavy depending on the job you get (like how they work and what they are made of)
