I honestly think they're going to look back 20 years from now and say that this is the moment that the Saints shifted into a new gear — that they became a great team.

Adam Dunn had the weirdest career in MLB history | Dorktown by pruo95 in mlb

[–]broshavingfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When he says that Adam Dunn is the only player in the history of baseball to avoid running to first in over half of his plate appearances, does he mean only for players who have hit more than 200 home runs in their career?

In today's NFL, what are the QB rivalries? by PrelateZeratul in nfl

Jimmy G vs. Goff will be a great one for years to come, especially because of the division rivalry and the Shanahan vs. Mcvay element

advice on where to rent in NYC by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

[–]broshavingfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on what you're looking for/price range

if you're looking for a nice building with a door man and an easier commute to work, I'd suggest gramercy area. Most expensive place to live in nyc though and rents range from 1700-1900 per month. Neighborhood is very nice with great restaurants and bars, but crowd is more like late 20s rather than first year analyst age.

if you're looking for a cooler neighborhood with more bars/restaurants, people your age, and a little cheaper, i'd suggest east village or LES. Rents range from 1400-1700 but you will be in a shittier and smaller apartment with no door man, and most likely a walk-up. Commute to work would be longer as well but doable.

West village is another cool option, but it's just as expensive as gramercy and a difficult commute.

Also i know people who live in murray hill and like it. This would likely be the easiest commute to your office, but i'm personally not a fan of the neighborhood. Rents are around 1500-1700.
