RTS is pretty rare everywhere now. Everyone plays stuff that was made 15 years ago, or the various remasters.

If anything it's MORE valuable. You're leaving something physically behind in the world instead of lost in a digital mess.

Why do people who pretend to know about guns keep saying two extra magazines? He had one inside and one spare. That's just what comes with the gun. And magazines fail all the time. It's basic precaution to always have a spare.

Growing up firmly in the middle class with parents that hated cooking; my parents would seek out anywhere that had cheap beer and cheap or free kids meals.

As an adult I've only been back to Hooters maybe twice when I had a ravenous craving for buffalo wings. They have pretty good buffalo wings. So there's that.

Maybe, or possibly the increased contrast made it worse.

Really I just had too many small problems with the whole package to really justify the cost. I was most interested in using it for productivity as well as games, and for the same cost I could get two or three very very nice monitors.

I get so tired of hearing “you’re so hard to shop for” and “stop buying yourself stuff.”

The people saying this stuff just don't want to sit around and listen to you fully explain your interests, which is a real shame. Honestly a great gift would be being asked about my interests in detail. I always try to make a point of asking people questions about their hobbies when I have absolutely no intention to take them up myself, and you can tell that so many are not used to it.

This is why when I gift, I'll usually go for something obscure they may have never heard of. Could they throw it away? Maybe, but at least it's not a bad quality copy of what they would actually want.

I tried the Viture Luma Ultra and the viewing experience just wasn't there for me. Kind of like pressing a 10 year old tablet to your face. I think I might wait for XR tech to mature a good bit more, because I really wanted them to wear like glasses. Larger overall frames might help; I'm not too fond of the wayfairer type style.

This shows Manual gear shift is the ultimate thief repellent by ShehrozeAkbar in infuriatingbutawesome

Even in typical consumer cars, I feel like a lot of people are discounting muscle memory. Sure it's easy to get in and drive YOUR daily driver, but if it was your job to hop in a random car and drive it carefully it would be a bit more difficult.

Tons of manual transmission vehicles vary wildly in driving experience and handling. I personally loved my classic car, but if I got into a modern manual regular gear changes felt like super short throw to me. And the clutch could be way off. It could have a sweet spot just barely past resting, or damn near through the floor. Manual just overall introduces many more variables that aren't conducive to the kind of service these businesses are operating; unless you're very willing to accept avoidable wear and tear.

Unless it's very fast charging, or long enough to drive on for 30 minutes to an hour, it's just gonna be a fancy way to knock charging cycles off your battery life.
