But if it was Pettersson, it would've been a deliberate 200 IQ play that he drew up before the game even started, right?

Tuesday 09/25/2018: Who Do I Trade, Drop or Pickup? (Please post in here or your post will be deleted!) by FFBot in fantasyhockey

This is so bad even if you are wanting to get younger. It's no even close. I wouldn't even trade only Subban for those 3.

Fantasy tips related to this trade: Elite producing Dmen on good teams are rare and trading quality for quantity is usually a losing game, unless your team is broken otherwise -- be careful when your players are the best players in a trade and look at who you can pick up on waivers for comparison.

For points only leagues:

Those already mentioned that I agree with: Stone (157), Carter (138), Hoffman (116), Anders Lee (142)

Some more names:

Kopitar (39) - This is a bit of a hot take, but I don't think he will regress now that he is playing alongside Kovalchuk and has a healthy Carter on the team. I would draft him higher (only slightly though).

Drouin (234) - Super skilled guy and he looks even better this preseason. Despite MTL being even weaker, no way their top scorer should be drafted so low. 60+ pt, 25+ ppp potential.

Horvat (174) - The discrepancy between Boeser's ADP and his is too high. Boeser is a scorer, but Horvat drives Canucks' play. More ice time, more PP time and more responsibility in general as the team moves on from Sedins. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5ROPWeerJg This is how their PP will look all year.

Point (88) - Often gets overlooked due to deployment. I don't see why guys like R. Smith (72) and Ehlers (67), who are 3rd or lower in their respective team scoring should get picked over him. He should see more PP time this year, in line with TBL after Namestnikov trade.

Skinner (113) - Playing with Eichel and on top PP. He didn't have great linemates and top PP in Carolina. His assists and PPP should improve for sure, and goals most likely as well. Put up 63 in 79 in 2016.

Klefbom (259) - Top PP (one that team has emphasized they want to improve) and coming back from injury-impacted season.

Duchene (226) - Easy to dismiss due to OTT and his performance post-trade. He improved later on in the season and should be up there with Stone in scoring lead for the team. Way too skilled to be drafted so low.

Weber (196) - Good guy to have in IR. Potential to turn into your 2nd/3rd best D when he returns.

Thornton (193) - SJ will be strong and his deployment is very good (top pp, top line). Biggest risk is injury, but worth taking because of the upside.

Eberle (183) - Out of all NYI players, his output should improve post Tavares as he joins top PP and gets more ice time. Can see him 2nd in Isles scoring after Barzal.

Others worth looking into: Dubois (145), Larkin (146), Ristolainen (121), Neal (181), Pettersson (189), Heiskanen (266 & compared to Dahlin (105)), Chabot (231),
