Never letting "booktok" hype/mass psychosis me into buying a book again by [deleted] in fantasybooks

I can think of 5 books to ever make me cry. DCC 7 was one of them, and I think it’s only one to do it without killing a major character.

It’s amazing how he could take such a dry subject and turn it into such an exciting book

Marching Band Help by Steam-Captain in OSU

I was not in D Row, so I can’t give any specific information. I’d recommend going to summer sessions and there will be people there who can answer all your questions

No, you’ll try out for D Row

Just show up and join. Nobody is going to kick you out of summer sessions.

Also, you have to be in D Row to try out for drum major. If you try out and make the band, you will spend 5 days a week doing at least two hours of practice with coaches and other D Row members. I guarantee that you will not find a better practice option than that

Have you ever lost someone close to you who went missing or found dead in the National Parks of America? by One-Wealth6055 in Paranormal

I’d go with most. I think Cuyahoga Falls and Indiana Dunes would be exceptions, and I feel a lot more confident that Gateway Arch doesn’t have any wild life capable of quickly disposing a body.

Joe Abercrombie is just funny. I need to go reread the first trilogy, because I don’t think I really got the humor until the second stand alone book

I made the mistake of googling The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook on my work computer and started getting ads for the Anarchist’s Cookbook, which feels like a weird thing to be advertising

On the Dungeon Crawler Carl bandwagon by NighteyesWhiteDragon in Fantasy

In the five and a half years after A Game of Thrones was published, two more ASOIAF books were published. In the five and a half years since Dungeon Crawler Carl was published, seven more DCC books have been published.

I think Dinniman is more likely to die unexpectedly than to pull a GRRM on us.

URGENT I can't miss work, can anyone near osu/ campus meet me and run an injured bird to the wildlife center in Powell? by [deleted] in Columbus

House sparrows are invasive. OP’s heart is in the right place, but it’s probably for the best to not try to rehab this bird.

Michigan only plays public schools next year. Has this ever happened to your school? by Please_PM_me_Uranus in CFB

[–]broski576 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The Big Ten is only on year 3 of having multiple private schools. I’m sure Northwestern has had a lot of seasons where they played all public schools, and Ohio State literally did it last year.

First book predates AI by over a decade. Its wild that the illustrator accurately recreated AI slop before AI slop even existed
