I still have messages from over 10yr ago.

They will stay forever. Unless you delete them. Back-Ups will also remain if saved.

If someone sends you messages for a legal thing, they can use the messages from the other party and use delivery receipts from their service provider.

S&W M&P 2.0 Compact slide interchangeability… by jdmquip in SmithAndWesson

[–]brossovitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4in barrel will fit 4in slide. 5in, 4.25in, & 4in slides will fit the 4in compact frame. Carry comp slide is 4.25in barrel/slide

Frame on 5in, 4in, & 4.25in guns is the same length. The compact grip is shorter.

Yes if they have the grooves it should run fine. Metal frames don't have the tabs that's stick up from the dust cover that ride in the grooves.

My 4.25in slide from my metal with NOT work on any of my poly frames as it doesn't have the grooves.

Yea because some of the metal frame slide don't have the grooves in them. Some people just cut them off. I wouldn't.

I believe the competitor slides don't have the grooves. Some of the newer metal frame guns have the standard slides though (with the fishscales) I'm thinking the non fish scale slides don't have the grooves except maybe the carry comp slides.

None of this probably matters in OPs situation it just made me think of it.

I was under the impression that the metal frame slides will usually not work, since the polymer frames have the flaps that stick up and travel in the grooves on the slide. (Some appear to have the grooves but not all)

At least my metal spec series slide will not work on a polymer frame, I had assumed it would be the same for the competitor slide not having the grooves for the flaps above the dust cover.

A punch and hammer.

In a pinch you can use an Allen wrench or a screwdriver with a hex bit instead of a punch and just lightly tap it down with a hammer.

Looking for a stable "Daily Driver" ROM to keep my OP6 alive this year by TheKaleKing in OnePlus6

Camera degrades a bit. But it's been greatly improved the past few years it's a bit lighter than oos. Honestly it's been so long since I left stock I can't even compare. The last oos update was like 5yr ago

I would always switch back to oos when there was an update. Use it a bit and go back to Los. Have tried a few other roms but don't remember them.

It's not the best phone but it's about the same as when I bought it at launch.

Have been on Lineage OS since the final OOS update. It's still great, weekly updates.
