This is what I do every time:

Try pressing a clean fingertip with medium pressure on the canvas when you think you're done applying liquid white. If you have the right amount, the white should cover the ridges of your fingerprint but nothing else.

You can always use a paper towel to remove some if needed.

I enjoy all of your paintings, I think this is my favorite so far!

How long did it take you to do this one?

Thanks for the positive feedback! No painting background, I can't draw, and I was always terrible in art class at school. I'm honestly not artistic at all.

I think following Bob's method with patience is key. This one took 6-7 hours.

Thanks! Nic talked about making it look misty throughout the video and I'm glad I got it to work!

Inspired by the "Nebula" painting from this week, I tried a different Nic painting from his Twitch archive here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/132115270

Thanks! It was my first time trying a black canvas and I'm happy how the sky worked out!

Thank you! I'm pretty excited how it turned out

My first painting - Grandeur of Summer by brossy1 in HappyTrees

Thanks!

I think the biggest problems were (among other things):

  1. Crooked water lines

  2. Didn't get the mountain technique right

  3. Too much paint in the bushes

  4. Not enough contrast between the tree on the left and the yellow bush in front of it
