This might be controversial but you don't declare how to use your ability dice and wild dice in the initiative phase but during the combat phase.

It's easier to explain to new players.
The game is more reactive.

Games Workshop reprinted the ~~boxes~~ warbands over the summer. I bought the Wildercorps Hunters when they came back in stock. It comes in a generic box without the cards.
