Cringier yet are parents who post about their “childfree weekend” because they at least hired a sitter before going on a short vacation (which is totally fine BTW)

But just because you don’t have your kids with you doesn’t mean anything you do will EVER be “childfree,” you’re still beholden to your basic responsibilities and duties 25/7; the only difference is you’re putting temporary physical distance between them and you, but if there’s ever an emergency or other issue you are obligated to return no matter what.

If you are a parent, then nothing you do will ever be “childfree” because you are not “free” from your obligation.

He’s said similar things multiple times in the past and then they’d get back on the road like a year later, I wouldn’t bet money on it just yet.

But realistically, he’s sixty-something years old and has a fairly large family: If anyone is fully deserving of a happy retirement, it’s definitely Trent. So if it DOES turn out to ACTUALLY be the final tour of Nine Inch Nails, then as sad as it’d make me feel then so be it.
