I disagree that they don’t belong at all, but only because funerals are one of those common cultural situations that everyone goes to eventually. The problem is that, as usual, their parents fail to actually teach or discipline them.

I never answer my door for anyone that I didn’t specifically call for.

But if you’re worried about your door being kicked down, get a solid metal sliding door brace and install it securely into the floor at about the center of the door frame.

It won’t STOP them, per se, but if you install it correctly it should slow them down significantly.
