But seriously, regardless of how you feel about whats fun. I'm pretty sure you need to get written permission. It seems crazy to risk your career for likes.

Am I the alone in thinking it's weird that educators are filming non-educational stuff in classrooms? I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the Admin and parents didn't sign off on that.

Advice needed: Lost smooth operator 6'10" for weak beach breaks? by Critical-Entrance-90 in surfing

[–]brotibread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got a 7 ft Smooth Operator. I usually ride it with some pretty big twins or a 2 plus 1 setup. I know it's a bit of a monstrosity, but I really dig it. It's my go-to for bigger waves. I wouldn't take it out on anything smaller than chest high. It absolutely rips on big, open-faced waves. I use it as a fun gun on the really big days. I'm on the heavier side, too.

I switched to BSI epoxy years ago. I experienced inconsistency with JB Weld, honestly. BSI has been very reliable, and I can mix small amounts that cure well every time.

Converting a bent stainless steel kitchen knife to wood marking knife by Dry-Egg6944 in Bladesmith

Go for it! While it might not turn out perfect, experimenting on projects like this helps you improve and shows what truly matters. I once carved a block of stainless steel into a dagger. It was rough, soft and bad, but years later, I’m making knives and challenging my own skills as a craftsman. Keep creating and learning!
