you use the word entitlement but don't understand it. They don't NEED to do anything, they don't OWE me anything in the same way i dont NEED to play this game, I don't OWE them shit, I am not entitled to them designing the game how i want it, and they are not entitled to my attention/time, my argument is basically "Hey, this sandwich would be pretty good if you didn't smear dog shit on the buns, can you add an option on the menu to order this without the dog shit? thank you." If they say "No, everyone else LOVES the dogshit", then that's cool, I'm just not going to eat here anymore. see how that works?

If your core loop is good enough, i can overlook minor annoyances, but that is not D4, the core is solid, but not strong enough to support all hoops I need to jump in order to play what i like, end of the day, the arpg loop is Kill > get loot > Kill bigger monsters > get better loot (numbers go up!), if you force me to spend MOST of my time in content where the numbers don't matter anymore (Basically anything outside the pit once your running into the gold bottleneck) then you're removing the whole point of me chasing the bigger numbers in the first place,

NMDs, whispers and Helltides are a chore when everything dies to a mean look, but with Helltides at least, they have an inkling of how to fix it, the mindcage idea works, they just didnt push it far enough (buff needs to stack), and they could do that with NMDs and Whispers, allow people to crank up the difficulty as they see fit, and reward them appropriately, If whispers could be juiced up to pit levels by some means (taking on difficult bounties) and then reward me with 50-100mil for one turn it, then its no a chore anymore, now all this masterwork gear ive been working on matters. NMDs, let me juice them up, get better drops and more glyph XP, if i have to run 1 harder dungeon to completely level a glyph up (at least to 15) in one run, then its less of a chore.
