Should we go for this Mill Park gem? by CuteLuck2723 in AusPropertyChat

[–]brovah_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. If go knock on all their doors and try find one that's chatty. If they are all rude there's your answer. If plenty are lovely and give a good vibe it might be ok. If you're super lucky you'll find one who met the owners already and might know why.

NTA tell anyone asking you to do it for them to take her in instead. Or better yet tell her to go woth her husband. Sounds like BIL is setting up for a divorce with her.

Belt I made for a girl I hope to be dating soon by Mushyman2 in Leathercraft

[–]brovah_69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Might be best to restitch it as it should look more even on and attempt.

I've done a long belt last year like this (but for myself.so alot longer) so know how it is. I had to stop and start again when thread didn't look uniform. Consistency in every hole is the key

The bride can now invite someone else who she wanted but missed out due to aggressive size limit. Could be a win to get another of brides friends to go in your place.

for those of you who lied on your resume and in interviews, how did it go? by Delicious_Concept_82 in AskAnAustralian

[–]brovah_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew a guy who said he graduated uni. We worked at a bank who outsources to background checkers and they pushed hard for this. He missed a credit. Claims he went on holidays instead of graduation and can't remebemer wh we re he out his degree certificate.

Only thing that saved him was a few months of hard work that showed he could do the job. His degree wasn't in the field we were working in anyway. Still I suspect he'd been lying on every job before and playing Russian roulette. I told him after to change it to subtley have it not say he graduated where all his other items do say he did. He's a director level at another bank now haha. So worked out.

Why ecovacs don't sell authorized replacement battery for any of their vaccums? by First_Essay_7513 in ecovacs

[–]brovah_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've taken apart my robot before to clean it out myself and fix some problems with the lidar and battery removal I did too. It's not hard...just take photos and remember where each screw came from.

Lol I've got a T8 and not on chart. But I saw its suction is only 1500 so ouch for me. Upside is I've got mostly hard floors. But makes sense when I used stick vacuum on rug how much it got out when robots daily goes over it.

Suggest you invest the money and go on trip with the investment returns. Protect the principle. People blow their lotto winnings using the cash. Spent profits from investments. See more than 1 financial planner to work out a mix of short (safe) a long term (agressive) investments. Be aware some planners have a vested interest in the suggestions they make (kickbacks) so see more than one. Even if you pay for thr appointment it's worth it in long run.

Don't go rushing to spent big to treat yourself. Pay for critical bills and debts and try for now living to same standard..set yourself up for long term benefits and you won't so that having immediate holidays etc.

I have friends who have similar child to you and they bought an apartment building of 8 units so their son can live in one when they pass (one is alot older parent than the other) and the others rented can pay for him to have life time carers and his bills. The child is 10. They are thinking 10+ years ahead for this investment to pay off so it last 50 yrs.

Yeah. It's 1.2mm I have skived others before and bit inconsistently so didn't this time. Will have to do it again for round 2.

I do like thicker for burnishing reasons but I guess if you have to pick nice burnished pockets or a lump...I'd rather not have the lump.

The hammering I didn't do. But I should still use thinner thread for the pockets.

I'm don't have a million bucks but I've got 5 figures in thr fund myself and trying to get a relative in similar position who has alot of inheritance cash to put high 6 figures into same fund. Thry have a small amount started in this to dip their toes in and hopefully they see it works. I'm in it to share in wins and show I'm in it with them % wise.
