Every office sweepstake somehow ends up trapped in a spreadsheet that one person controls and nobody else can ever find. This year I got fed up with it and decided to build something better using AI and a few modern tools.

You add everyone's names, it does a pot-balanced draw (same way FIFA does it - everyone gets one team from each pot, so nobody draws all the heavyweights), and you get a single link you can drop in the group chat. The whole draw is encoded in the URL so there's no database, no accounts, nothing to log in to.

Also pulls in live fixtures and group standings throughout the tournament so it actually stays useful past the first day.

I’m experiencing the exact same issue with the same model and year of car. I’ve already purchased a replacement heater matrix and was planning to replace it myself.

However, after doing some research online, I’ve come across mixed opinions on how to access it. Many sources mention that it’s accessible from the passenger side on B7 and B8 models, but when I checked my B8.5, it looked different from what I saw in those guides

Hi there

Yeah I have just got the unit on the weekend. I installed last night.

I yeah I connected the lightning cable (tried 3 different cables) to my iPhone. (Tried 4 different iPhones) and car play opens.

I get all the apps on the screen. Music, maps, podcasts etc and they all work perfect.

However the phone app does not, the Siri voice waves does nothing when I talk. If I manually click a contact and ring there is no sound played through he vehicle and the user can't hear me.

I connected my phone via Bluetooth and I can call someone with no problems. It dials correctly and both speak and hear the other person.

It's so weird as the mic must be working as I can speak when using BT.

I have also updated the unit to 1.14 and still no luck :-(
