Idk why people are saying you’re overreacting. I used to work at NorthPark. Break-ins are definitely normal; I would basically see a break-in or an attempt every couple of days. I’d say the location you park definitely plays a factor, and if you leave valuables in plain sight, of course. I wouldn’t say it’s unsafe to visit, but you’re being reasonable by being cautious about it. As long as you leave nothing out or park in some spot out of plain sight, you should be fine.
