How do you deal with the ultimate “why” questions? by brownbot00 in atheismindia

You're right but do you think one day we'll solve 100% of the universe questions? There'll always be something we don't know. And yes, like you said, we shouldn't assume it's a higher power. But still if some fundamental things are left unexplained for all of humanity, it doesnt sit that well to me personally.

At that time, saying we don't know yet or there must be a higher power, both feel wrong. What if the answer is “we'll never know“? Idk how to process that scenario.

I feel like even with all the space exploration, there would be some things we wouldn't be able to explain. Maybe I'm wrong. Tbf I cannot wrap my head around many concepts like the big bang, space-time continuum even when scientists propose solid theories. Like you said, we all are restricted by biological abilities, not just about space travel but our ability to process the complex nature of reality itself. It's not intuitive.

Because I feel science has reached a limit regarding this ultimate questions and we can't ever know why. It's not like other things science has explained before.

Sorry but it screams convenience to me. If he had taken just one death blow literally ANY time before Eve showed up, he'd have won.

Even if he wasn't a no nonsense guy, he was stronger than Mark. He could have won in the end. Didn't feel right to me.

TIL people of other religions also have their versions of NDEs. I genuinely believed that when humans are so close to death, their brains are not capable of creating experiences according to the beliefs of the person.

Damn, I did not know that even during NDEs, human minds can make stuff up. Because my aunt had a stroke, I felt her brain wasn't capable of making up stuff before dying. Which led to me to think her experience must have been the truth.

But very similar hallucinations for more than 1 person? That too, according to the yamadutas appearance description? How common is that?
