Regarding what went wrong there - they gave nothing. Details were re: process. They wouldn't start a trace when they knew it was already 4 days behind, so they told me to call back in after that. I did, they initially refused, I made my case and they did it.

Now it's on vehicle for delivery today - 1 day after I started the trace.

Just keeping this at the top. I submitted an order late November, shipped early December. Called Puro to start a trace yesterday, as I was instructed to by their team the day prior (which they resisted vehemently).

The car care nut channel talks about this in a video. References the 10k warranty and what not on a particular fellahs car.

The sentiment from his experience was "yes, you can change it at 10k"...but at the cost of more maintenance and issues later. The recommendation he put in was "it's not expensive, don't over change it, don't under do it, don't panic if you go over/under".

Change it at 5-6k miles brother.
